During this period, 3 experiments were performed on the samples at intervals of 7 days up to 46 days

Hematological tests (hematocrit, normal hemoglobin, free hemoglobin of red and white blood cells),
Biochemical tests (sodium, potassium, calcium, urea, blood pH, total protein and glucose)
AST and LDH enzyme tests.

Also, all samples were cultured on the first and tenth days and were examined for serological tests (test card).

Culture samples (except for 4 positive cases) as well as serological tests (brucellosis) were all negative.

Comparison of mean blood findings with day 0 shows that changes in hematocrit, red and white blood cells were not significant until day 40, while normal hemoglobin, free hemoglobin, blood pH, sodium, potassium, calcium, urea, AST, LDH, Total protein and glucose showed a significant difference (P \u003c0.05) in blood storage

Conclusion: No change in hematocrit, red and white blood cells up to day 40 and normal hemoglobin up to day 28, as the main components of blood transfusion, from the positive points of this study and changes in sodium, potassium and pH from possible complications of transfusion stored by this method. Such blood should be transferred to anemic cows and the side effects of all the above factors should be investigated.

Blood transfusion is one of the well-known treatment methods in anemic animals, which has been less inclined due to lack of sufficient information.

As a result, red blood cells, hemoglobin and hematocrit, which are the main elements of blood transfusion, will improve the animal by affecting vital and physiological activities.
Biochemical elements and enzymes did not play a significant role in blood transfusion and had no side effects in accepting cows.
